Volvo Unveils the All-New Volvo XC90 After a Long Wait

Volvo has unveiled the all-new Volvo XC90 after a long wait. The new model marks the beginning of a new chapter in Volvo's history since the new owner taking charge.

The first edition of the all-new XC90 was sold out within 47 hours of the launch in September.

At the top of the range, the XC90 Twin Engine is a plug-in hybrid model that combines supercharged petrol engine with an electric motor, offering 400 horsepower with low emission, combined torque is over 600Nm.

To add more visual muscle to the typical scandinavian minimalist design, the XC90 comes with a range of 22-inch wheels.

Inside the huge SUV, a touchscreen centre console does away conventional buttons, and together with a crystal glass gear lever, form the heart of an all-new in-car control system.

The interior of the seven-seater is covered in handcrafted leather and wood that complement occupants with relaxing luxurious experience.

If that's not enough, the new XC90 comes with a 1,400W amplifier and 19 high-end Bowers & Wilkins speakers, which uses the entire interior of th huge SUV as a giant subwoofer.

Renowned as the safest car on the planet, the safety features for the new XC90 is still at the forefront of the industry setting standards. The new run-off road protection package tightens the occupants in position in a run-off scenario and energy absorbing features on the seats actively prevent critical spinal injuries to passengers. The XC90 can also automatically brake and stop if it faces a on-coming car. There are numerous other safety features and driver assistance functionalities are to be discovered by the potential owners.
