Production of Volvo's XC60 SUV starts today and the first car is on the way to its owner.
The new model replaces Volvo's successful original XC60, which was Europe's bestselling mid-sized SUV and sold nearly a million during its decade long production.
The new XC60 is full of safety features including Steering Assist and Oncoming Lane Mitigation that automatically steers the car clear of head-on collision if detected, other notable features include Blind Spot Indication System that warns on lane-changing collision.
Extensive safety features do not compromise performance, with the T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid powertrain, the top of range XC60 delivers 407 hp and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 5.3 seconds.
